- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field such as finance, economics, or business administration is required.
- At least 2 years of accounting experience is required, preferably in a senior living or health care environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with especially strong Excel spreadsheet skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software and billing systems, with experience using Sage Intacct, Point Click Care, Kronos/UKG, and AnyBill accounts payable solutions preferred.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to use office tools and equipment including a computer or laptop, copier, printer, fax, and personal phone.
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks while subject to frequent interruptions.
- Perform bank reconciliations for operating, payroll, and security deposit accounts.
- Prepare and post journal entries for assigned communities.
- Perform monthly account audits for expenses, prepaid expenses, intercompany accounts, paid-time-off liabilities, accounts payable, accounts receivable, security deposit accounts, and liability accounts as needed.
- Track resident deposit activity, refunds, and deferred revenue schedules when needed.
- Prepare and maintain supporting schedules.
- Assist with preparation of organizational financial statements and audit asset and liability accounts monthly for balance accuracy.
- Assist with preparing schedules and other reports for the year-end audit, including schedules for all communities requested by auditors.
- Support organizational initiatives related to healthy, successful aging, person-centered care programs, and collaborative citizenship culture.
- Interact with relevant stakeholders, including coworkers and team members within the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Accounting experience in a senior living or health care environment.
- Experience with Sage Intacct, Point Click Care, Kronos/UKG, and AnyBill accounts payable solutions.

Ziegler has closed $41.2 million in Series 2026 Bonds for Christian Living Communities Obligated Group through the Colorado Health Facilities Authority. The organisation operates three senior living communities in Denver metro comprising 474 independent living units, 122 assisted living apartments and 192 skilled nursing beds. Proceeds will refund Series 2016 Bonds and fund $2 million in capital expenditures, generating over $4 million in debt service savings. Fitch awarded the Obligated Group a "BBB+" rating with stable outlook in connection with the issuance. Christian Living Communities' parent organisation includes three additional assisted living facilities, a home care agency, a Medicare Advantage programme and third-party management company Capella Living Solutions.
