Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Microbiology, Bacteriology, Food Microbiology or closely related field.
Responsibilities
  • Lead small quality improvement projects within the team, working with plants and other areas of Schreiber Foods.
  • Create and update documentation for food safety and quality and lab processes.
  • Gain knowledge about our products and apply that knowledge to improve processes and practices.
  • Input and analyze data.
  • Complete projects related to testing, quality systems, sanitation, auditing, HACCP, training, SQF, suppliers, and other related topics.
  • Assist the quality teams on ongoing projects.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, in addition to customer requirements. Interpret and communicate customer requirements to plant production and/or support groups.
  • Establish and audit Process Control Plans, Critical Control Points and Standard Operating Procedures to define and monitor processes, to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Review incidents in which procedures are not met and determine appropriate corrective action for partners failing to follow standard procedures.
