Pendo is looking for a Manager, Global Procurement to join our rapidly growing Finance Team.  This role reports to the Director of Accounting and will be responsible for Pendo’s global Procurement team.  This is a highly visible position and a good opportunity to drive the global Procurement strategy for a pre-IPO software company.

Role Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to understand and influence technology strategy and deliver insights into how technology can support their strategic initiatives
• Lead high profile negotiations with large enterprise suppliers and partners while delivering maximum commercial benefits for Pendo and delivering on strategic priorities
• Support and manage key vendor relationships to ensure the quality of service delivered
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures based on industry best practices
• Develop and maintain appropriate internal controls over procurement related activities consistent with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX)
• Liaise with other members of finance to manage internal budgets
• Work with functional business owners to optimize relationships with existing vendors and source and select new vendors when appropriate
• Set and maintain SLAs with business stakeholders while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores

Minimum Qualifications

• BS Degree in Business related field
• 5+ years of procurement experience (SaaS organization preferred)
• Previous management experience
• Self-starter with strong leadership and communication skills
• Software proficiency: Excel & Google Sheets

Preferred Qualifications

• International procurement experience
• Risk management experience
• 3+ years of strategic sourcing experiencing including the use of enterprise procurement platforms
• Experience working with executive level stakeholders
• Ability to adapt to rapid business changes

Compensation

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Raleigh, NC is USD $100,000 - USD $150,000.

Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
