About the Role
Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
The ERD Migration Intern is part of the Product team and Is responsible for migrating our ERDs from their current Google Slides to a new tool we have built. They will be working as part of the SaaS data connectors team in partnership with Fivetran’s Schema Specialist and Product Manager for the new tool. You will partner with team members to understand the tasks requirements, the priority of the ERDs to be migrated, and report errors and potential corrections whilst completing the migrations. Documentation of items discovered in our ticket system will be expected. You will also report progress regularly together with any challenges you encounter.
This is an individual contributor role based out of Fivetran’s Oakland, USA Office. The successful candidate must be able to to work with overlap with US EST and PST time zones.
What You’ll Do
For the ‘Lite’ branded connectors SaaS data connectors:
- Help priorities the list of target connectors for efficient execution of the work
- Review the existing Google Slide ERD
- Locate the service in the new tool - review Tables and Columns to validate readiness for migration
- Work through the new tool to layout the ERD matching the existing Google Slide Layout
- Report any errors and mistakes for fixing by the team using our ticketing system in well structured clearly written tickets.
- Submit the updated ERD for approval and address any feedback, resubmitting as needed
- After approval has been completed follow established process for getting the production documentation for the service switched over to use the new ERD
- Work closely with Schema Specialist to enhance the publishing process as needed
- Work closely with the Product Manager to report usability and other issues with the new tooling
- Provide periodic updates to the team on your progress and any challenges encountered
- Join a periodic manager/progress review meeting

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the target position and level. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Our job titles may span more than one career level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, business need, market demands. This range represents base salary only and does not include incentive for sales roles, equity, or benefits, if applicable.
