Requirements
  • This position is reserved for current college/university students.
  • A current junior pursuing an undergraduate degree in CS or related field at an accredited university or college
  • Software Development training, through formal coursework, or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity or interest in learning some of the following: Node.js, React, Python, AWS, Postgres, JavaScript, C#, SQL, Java or other technologies
  • Familiarity or interest in learning Ruby on Rails (cloud team)
  • Familiarity or interest in test driven development and collaborative programming, the software development life cycle, building RESTful Web Services
  • Ability to interact well in a team environment
Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and support high performance distributed systems
  • Write unit tests, perform code reviews, and participate in design discussions about architecture, data shape, and business logic
  • Understanding basic principles of: Source Control, Unit Testing, Test Driven Development, and possibly Pair or Mob Programming
