The post doctoral scholar should be fully experienced within the Research Laboratory environment. The post doctoral scholar will serve as a resource for Research Technicians, Graduate Research Associates, Undergraduate Research Assistants and Undergraduate Students. The post doctoral scholar will apply their knowledge and a thorough understanding of the Research being performed to lead research and work independently. The post doctoral scholar will work on complex research projects of large scope within the Department. The post doctoral scholar will be able to complete routine work independently; while only requiring general guidance on new research initiatives and projects.
Minimum Required Education is a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. Candidate must have 3-4 years of relevant research experience.
Specific Research Areas that the post doctoral scholar will be involved in will include development of oxygen therapeutics for application in ex vivo organ perfusion.
