Responsibilities
  • Progress through a four-phase Management Development Program to learn every aspect of how the business operates
  • Grow a sales territory and provide world class customer service to customers
  • Receive guidance, mentoring, and support from current managers and teammates to build a successful management career
  • Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer service including building product knowledge, handling logistics, customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, and financial statements
  • Phase 2: Customer relationships and Procurement including managing large-scale projects, solving problems, building relationships with customers and vendors, and reading blueprint drawings to create quotes of materials
  • Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales focusing on business development, selling products, negotiating contracts, expanding the customer base, and creating level 5 customer partnerships
  • Phase 4: Leadership and Operations including providing strategic vision, leading a team, mentoring others, coaching, and setting vision and strategy
  • Upon completion, readiness to become a manager at a Canadian Profit Center location
  • Relocation within Canada may be required to complete training; relocation assistance provided; opportunities across the country
