- Must work on site in Overland Park office
- Shift flexibility required: least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) and that could be dayshift or evening; if evening, shift will end no later than 10pm
- This is a Tier 2 support position with IT Network Operations and position requires 11x7 support
- Tier 2 personnel are responsible for providing second level support for network equipment including routers, switches, content engines, broadband modems, Rap5s and AP105s
- Will accept recent college graduates
- IT Engineer I participates in software engineering development projects
- Uses both hardware and software engineering experience to aid project planning, design, business analysis, development, test and vendor management
- Provide second level support for network equipment including routers, switches, content engines, broadband modems, Rap5s and AP105s
- Work with vendors who manage multiple carriers/LECs for connectivity restoral and assist with managing chronic issues to permanent solution
- Supporting/troubleshooting wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms to include broadband (cable, dsl, metro Ethernet), T1 circuit infrastructure and wifi networks
