Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Systems, or similar field or relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
  • 5+ years of hands-on industry software development experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in node.js, python or similar languages
  • Experience with cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, CI/CD and related tools
  • Experience with AWS products including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, s3
  • Modern testing methodologies and frameworks such as Mocha, Jasmine and Jest
  • Strong understanding of architectural design patterns and computer-science fundamentals
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, SASS, Javascript
  • HTML + HTML5, including Flexbox, semantic markup, accessibility and concepts such as OOCSS, BEM and ATOMIC)
  • Experience with browser APIs, including a working knowledge of event lifecycles and performance optimization
  • CSS + CSS2, including cross-browser compliance
Responsibilities
  • Solve complex software engineering problems supporting Nike’s pursuit of delivering state of the art tools to our product developers and broader creation community
  • Build out tooling for internal Innovation & Consumer Creation team members
  • Engage with other Global Technology functions and teams on organizational and technical goals
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with implementing and integrating AI, Machine Learning and related data solutions preferred
  • 2+ years of hands on experience with technologies such as vue.js, vuetify.js, vuext, React (experience with other frameworks such as Angular is a plus), Redux, Template Technologies, Micro Services, REST Web Services
