Requirements
  • 1. Master's degree in physical, biological, environmental sciences, or public health for Assignment Level I
  • 2. Doctorate degree or Master's degree with experience for Assignment Level II and above
  • 3. At least 2 years of experience in a responsible supervisory, administrative, or research capacity
  • 4. Experience in racial equity and social justice work
  • 5. Strong data analysis skills
  • 6. Familiarity with Personnel Action Requests (PARs) approval process
  • 7. Ability to develop and track equity goals
  • 8. Proficiency in conducting data analysis and creating reports
  • 9. Experience with OMB Hiring Application
  • 10. Strong organizational and supervisory skills
Responsibilities
  • 1. Lead racial equity and social justice work
  • 2. Coordinate and manage the Personnel Action Requests (PARs) approval process
  • 3. Develop annual equity goals for the COO Office
  • 4. Support workforce equity initiatives
  • 5. Provide support for internal work related to Personnel Actions at the Office of Management & Budget
  • 6. Conduct data analysis and create monthly reports
  • 7. Provide technical assistance and support for agency users of automated OMB Hiring Application
  • 8. Supervise staff on OMB PAR research and review processes
  • 9. Organize and maintain COO admin SharePoint site
