Requirements
  • A master's degree from an accredited program in Counseling or a related field is required.
  • Ability to register with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies is required.
  • The role requires the physical ability to stand, sit, talk, hear, use hands and fingers to operate a computer and keyboard, perform close-vision computer work, and complete light to moderate lifting.
Responsibilities
  • Provide therapy and care coordination to assigned consumers and their families as appropriate for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use conditions.
  • Prepare and manage treatment plans and discharge plans.
  • Provide therapeutic crisis interventions as needed.
  • Document interventions and program activity while maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records.
  • Use measurement-based care to track service success and support informed treatment decisions.
  • Empower consumers to reach an optimum level of achievement by setting a positive example and providing role modeling.
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate group therapy sessions following evidence-based practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position and program description and consistent with the employee's experience, education, and ability.
