- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience within the Information Technologies.
- Develop and implement MicroStrategy Web Architecture, SDK features for Web, Mobile and Visualizations as well as MicroStrategy Platform Architecture including Web Server, Intelligence Server, and Metadata Repository.
- Accommodate business needs that are not supported by standard MicroStrategy functionality using Software Development Kit.
- Understand MicroStrategy Web and Mobile Architecture.
- Customize page and content layout in MicroStrategy Web.
- Integrate MicroStrategy functionality into other applications (portal integration).
- Utilize Visualization Software Development Kit to provide new ways to visualize data in MicroStrategy.
- Integrate third-party JavaScript visualizations into MicroStrategy OEM application (D3JS).
- Create Web Services API operations.
- Customize MicroStrategy Mobile SDK for iOS and Android applications.
- Be generally aware of plug-ins and custom tags available out of the box for customizations.
- Integrate MicroStrategy with third-party Single Sign-On tools.
- At least 3+ years of experience in data warehousing or business intelligence related technologies and tools.
- At least 4+ years of experience in software development life cycle.
- At least 3+ years of experience in project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
- At least 2 years of experience in design.
- Experience on MicroStrategy Software Development Kit environment.
- Ability to work in a team in diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
- Experience in the financial domain.
- Analytical skills.
- Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
- Experience on report and dashboard development.
- Unix scripting experience.
- Strong knowledge of databases such as IBM Db2 and Oracle.
- Must be able to understand data modeling, schema and map to data elements of reports.
- Experience in metadata creation, creating report specifications, integration, test planning, testing and implementation support.
