Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting field service operations or new product development.
  • Experience with MRI magnets is preferred; experience as a field service engineer or magnet-related maintenance project manager is highly relevant and preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in troubleshooting, service innovation, test design, data analysis and interpretation, feasibility analysis, quality assurance, technical writing, and continuous improvement.
  • Working knowledge of InCenter, ServiceMax, and TrackWise is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Ability to meet the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, build effective relationships, influence across functions, and exercise sound judgment in complex service innovation challenges.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and contribute to service innovation initiatives for superconducting Magnetic Resonance Imaging magnets.
  • Improve serviceability, reliability, preventive service delivery, and field support effectiveness.
  • Work with multidisciplinary specialists, field service, engineering, quality, product development, and service operations teams to evaluate concepts, support change projects, and implement practical solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Magnetic Resonance Imaging magnet service topics.
  • Provide consultative guidance, technical investigation support, and knowledge sharing across projects and peer groups.
  • Support Modified Launch Design and new product introduction activities, including service requirements, verification and validation planning, test design, and service bill of material considerations.
  • Travel as needed for project or business requirements.

  • Experience with Product Development Lifecycle Management, Modified Launch Design projects, Corrective and Preventive Actions, and Magnetic Resonance service innovation.
