Requirements
  • Five to seven years of experience as an Oracle Programmer or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Good understanding of the Oracle Data Management Workbench tool and study build according to specifications.
  • Experience with programming languages such as PL/SQL and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ICH Good Clinical Practice and other relevant ICH, European Union, or Food and Drug Administration guidelines to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Understanding of clinical trial processes and data management activities.
  • Proficiency with office computer technology, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
  • Fluency in English.
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with different study stakeholders internally.
  • Provide Oracle programming input for Data Management activities dedicated to one sponsor.
  • Ensure all clinical programming aspects comply with client standard operating procedures and are delivered to a high standard of quality.
  • Perform programming using Oracle tools, including Data Management Workbench and Life Sciences Hub.
  • Apply a good understanding of Study Data Tabulation Model and dataset generation according to specifications in Data Management Workbench.
  • Set up external data vendor integrations from specifications in Data Management Workbench.
  • Perform transformation mapping according to specifications.
  • Manage external data loading and integrations in Data Management Workbench.
  • Perform validation checks and programming validation or programming deliverables in Data Management Workbench.

Eurazeo invests in European clinical research provider Excelya

Morgan Lewis has advised Eurazeo on its investment in Excelya, a European clinical research services provider. The deal sees Eurazeo join as a long-term investor alongside Excelya's management team. Eurazeo, a leading European investment group, manages €37.4 billion in diversified assets and supports over 600 mid-market companies. Excelya specialises in developing patient treatments and advancing scientific knowledge in clinical research. The Morgan Lewis team included partners Sophie Perus and Sebastien Pontillo, of counsel Thomas Lefebvre, and associates Baptiste Godmer, Charles Deffontaines and Camille Jannin. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.
