About this opportunity:
You’ll be joining Cambly’s highly collaborative and people-centric Design organization. As Cambly’s 1st Market Researcher, you’ll be a leader who will establish how market research is done at Cambly while directly collaborating with co-founders, leadership, product, design, engineering, brand, marketing, finance, product analytics, and more. You’ll support existing research efforts and have the opportunity to establish new foundational efforts to understand the global population of English speaking students and tutors. Some of what you’ll do:
- Build, evolve and maintain systems that allow us to survey our users and non-users
- Independently lead holistic market research processes including survey design, acquiring sample population, fielding the survey, data cleaning, data analysis, weighting, and reporting results.
- Source, vet and onboard a network of 3rd party vendors that may enable us to move more efficiently.
- Excell at communicating data-driven insights to inform company, product, and marketing decisions
- Deliver strategic thinking across the business, product, and company
- Mentor, train, and support cross-functional team member’s survey research efforts
- Contribute to and enrich the research team’s and overall company culture. Collaborate with other research methodologies for more complex mixed-methods explorations
- Some international travel may be required.
Your qualifications:
- You’re a professional researcher and have a degree in a field related to market research or survey science (e.g., Marketing, Psychology, Political Science, etc.) or an equivalent form of relevant research training.
- You have 6+ years of experience researching digital products across international locations and cultures.
- You’re an excellent communicator. You present research insights and recommendations clearly and confidently to every audience.
- You value collaboration in your work. You’re a great partner to your cross-functional teammates who can lead and listen.
