Requirements
  • Be a current third- or fourth-year Occupational Therapy student.
  • Be available for a minimum of three days per week.
  • Have full Australian working rights.
  • Hold a current driver's licence and have access to a car.
  • Be able to obtain a Police Check and Working with Children Check.
Responsibilities
  • Work alongside practitioners and workers who have sustained an injury or illness in the workforce.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring, and review of individual rehabilitation needs.
  • Support return-to-work planning for occupational rehabilitation claims, certificates of capacity, and service approvals.
  • Assist with developing detailed written reports that support workers' goals and outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date information, data, and documents for workers.
  • Collaborate and liaise with medical practitioners and allied health professionals.
