Requirements
  • Security Guards are expected to have a valid BSIS guard card.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Open availability and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must possess a valid California Guard Card.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge, or license.
  • Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the United States.
  • Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background check, and credit check.
  • Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit, walk, stand, and bend at the neck for six or more hours per day.
  • Must perform repetitive hand movements including simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling, and reaching for the entire shift.
  • Must be able to work in conditions involving excessive noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, and extremes of temperature, humidity, or wetness.
  • Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe environment by ensuring the security of the casino, employees, and guests.
  • Operate a surveillance system quickly and effectively.
  • Write accurate, detailed reports.
  • Count chips with a limited number of mistakes.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to casino guests.
  • Be available to work any shift, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
