Role Overview:
As Senior Associate, Copywriting, you have foundational knowledge of copy editing and content writing. You have a proven track record of editing copy to meet grammatical and style guide standards, while also being able to craft compelling marketing copy. You excel at organizing and breaking down topics into engaging and digestible narratives. You are an experienced and motivated copy editor and content writer who works cross-functionally to help define and execute our style guide and content strategy.

What you do each day:
- Develop and produce content for a variety of channels and styles, (i.e. core website, blogs, email, new product features, performance landing pages, etc.)
- Collaborate with the SEO team, product marketing, lifecycle marketing, creative, and other business stakeholders to plan, produce, edit, and write content
- Write compelling, accurate, relevant, and on-brand content for a variety of audiences
- Work directly with the copywriting and creative teams to develop written, visual, audio, and video assets to support our content initiatives
- Edit written content according to our company voice, tone, and style guide
- Ensure content is free of grammatical errors and adheres to best practices
- Work with our writers to polish copy and get it ready for final deliverable/publication
- Fact-check content to verify the accuracy of statistics, names, industry specifics, etc, in every written piece
- Help with the ongoing development of content, standards, and guidelines
- Prioritize initiatives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications:
- 4+ years editing and writing content
- Ability to write both long-form and short-form copy across multiple channels (blogs, case studies, landing pages, email)
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred
- Must be coachable and apply constructive feedback to tactical responsibilities
- What will help you succeed in this role:
- Experience with B2B and SaaS products a plus
- Track record of using data-driven insights to develop and iterate on content
- Experience with AP Stylebook and the ability to adapt to in-house style guides
- Outstanding proofreading, editing, and writing skills, with the ability to adapt communications to different audiences and channels
- Passionate about grammar, upholding the brand style guide, and voice and tone standards
- Independent, self-starter who thrives in a team dynamic

Location Dependent Information
This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $64,000-$80,000. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
