Requirements

Base pay is one element of our Total Rewards package which may also include comprehensive benefits and equity etc., depending on eligibility
The annual base salary range for this position is from $120,000 to $190,000
The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as years of relevant experience, skills, education etc. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and guidance for members of the UI team
Implementing designs on custom UI hardware
Integrating commercial libraries for support of industry-standard communication protocols to the other components in the system
Integrating with a central shared database for live display of system state
Following best practices for team software development (peer reviews of designs and code, unit and system testing, version control, bug tracking, integrated documentation)
Adapting and integrating proprietary and open source software packages and APIs
Development in a Linux environment
UI design related work idea but not required
Full stack experience a plus

Desired Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Experience with modern frameworks such as Vue. js., React, JavaScript
Technically skillful in UI work
Demonstrates understanding and use of software engineering concepts, practices, and procedures
Full stack experience ideal but not required

The UI Engineer Lead is a critical customer development, training and technical leadership role within the Dexterity team. As our UI Engineer Lead you will manage the UI engineering team so that they can build the operator interface for our products that get used by our customer and associates at the warehouse. Every day you will architect multiple UI projects at once. To thrive in this role you must have experience leading a UI team through the creation and implementation of UI developments.
