Requirements
  • Three or more years of public accounting and/or corporate experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA License preferred but not required.
  • Self-starter.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Access, etc.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Dependable.
Responsibilities
  • Support Corporate and Regulatory Reporting activities for Real Estate Lending legal entities.
  • Prepare journal entries and analyze financial results.
  • Interact with and support Shared Service requests during financial close.
  • Prepare supporting schedules in support of Banking quarterly regulatory reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of standalone audited financial statements for various entities.
  • Assist on special projects.
  • Perform first level reviews of various financial schedules as skill set allows and support the department manager in ad hoc requests.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and related reporting deliverables for the Client business segment.
  • Represent on Corporate projects and initiatives across the Client reporting process and participate in projects impacting Corporate systems.
  • Ensure month-end books are closed and quarterly regulatory process is submitted accurately and timely.
  • Work on ledger and system projects.
  • Serve as representative and liaison for the Client business in regulatory filings, intercompany transactions and management books; act as primary interaction point with other functional areas in support of corporate and regulatory reporting processes.
  • Participate in Corporate initiatives related to accounting systems and projects.
