Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership, with expertise in network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT support.
  • Strong understanding of IT governance, compliance, and risk management.
  • Experience managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and project implementation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities.
  • Experience in Microsoft 365 administration, security, and governance.
  • Experience with Azure infrastructure, security, and cost optimization.
  • Expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the organization's internal IT support functions, ensuring the security, efficiency, and reliability of network infrastructure, IT security, and user support services.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust network infrastructure to support business needs.
  • Oversee the management of servers, and networking hardware including a continued migration to the cloud.
  • Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of IT systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess technology requirements and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Develop and enforce IT security policies, standards, and best practices to safeguard organizational data and systems.
  • Monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and industry standards with emphasis on CMMC.
  • Oversee identity and access management, data encryption, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage and lead an IT support team to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Develop user support protocols, service-level agreements (SLAs), and training programs.
  • Optimize IT service delivery through automation, documentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a user-centric approach to IT support, enhancing technology adoption and efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in artificial intelligence and implement AI initiatives to enhance IT operations and business processes.
  • Evaluate and integrate AI technologies to improve efficiency, decision-making, and innovation.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working as a Federal Contractor is strongly preferred
  • Master’s preferred (as part of the Bachelor’s degree requirement)
