Requirements
  • Four to eight years of experience in data analytics, process automation, or operations roles within procure-to-pay, procurement, or finance, with demonstrable examples of personally building, shipping, and scaling automations or data products.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and Python or equivalent, workflow and integration tooling such as iPaaS, robotic process automation, or native platform automation, and dashboarding or business intelligence.
  • Working knowledge of procure-to-pay systems and data, including enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP or NetSuite, procurement intake or orchestration platforms such as ZIP, and expense management tools.
  • Experience operating within a data governance framework covering certified data sources, data quality standards, access controls, and audit or Sarbanes-Oxley considerations.
  • A track record of driving adoption of new tools or processes through training, communications, champion networks, and adoption metrics.
  • Strong prioritization judgment and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to manage a busy intake, make rationale-based trade-offs, and communicate clearly with frontline requesters and executives.
Responsibilities
  • Own designated procure-to-pay subprocesses end to end, including intake-to-purchase-order, invoice exception handling, supplier onboarding, and expense workflows.
  • Map processes, establish baseline cycle-time, touch-rate, and exception-volume metrics, and redesign processes as the accountable process owner.
  • Translate pain points from requesters, approvers, buyers, and accounts payable into structured requirements and solution designs.
  • Apply Finance Data Strategy governance for data definitions, source-of-truth alignment, access controls, and quality standards.
  • Design, deploy, and scale automations within ZIP, SAP, NetSuite, the expense platform, BrickBuy, and other business workflows, including artificial-intelligence or large-language-model-assisted triage, auto-routing, data enrichment, exception auto-resolution, and notification logic.
  • Release minimum viable automations, instrument them from launch, and refine them using usage data and user feedback while maintaining sandbox-to-production discipline and Sarbanes-Oxley controls.
  • Build and maintain procure-to-pay datasets, dashboards, and metrics covering cycle time, Fast Pass performance, first-pass yield, policy compliance, automation coverage, and adoption rates.
  • Report metrics in established operating rhythms such as quarterly business reviews, ensuring figures reconcile across reports and source data.
  • Own adoption of delivered solutions by designing role-based training and enablement, producing launch communications and help content, running feedback loops with change champions, and identifying and mitigating resistance.
  • Manage Procurement's automation and data-request intake and backlog, prioritize requests by value, effort, and risk, publish a roadmap, and make daily trade-off decisions.
  • Partner with Procurement operations, the Finance Data team, the CIO organization, and managed-services partners; represent Procurement in Finance Data Strategy governance forums and coordinate with parallel transformation workstreams.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience building on the Databricks platform and applying large-language-model or artificial-intelligence tools to business workflows.
  • Experience in a high-growth, multi-entity organization spanning multiple subsidiaries or geographies.
  • Formal change-management certification such as Prosci or ADKAR, or process-improvement certification such as Lean or Six Sigma.

Coatue leads $3B Databricks investment at $134B valuation

Coatue Management is reportedly leading a $3 billion investment in Databricks, according to recent reports. The data analytics company previously raised roughly $5 billion earlier in 2026 at a $134 billion valuation. Databricks sells a lakehouse platform combining data lake and data warehouse capabilities and has expanded into AI software for enterprise applications. The company reported $5.4 billion in revenue run rate in February, up over 65% year on year, which grew to $6.9 billion by June. The earlier financing round included $2 billion in debt capacity intended to fund AI products, acquisitions and employee liquidity. At its current valuation, Databricks exceeds Snowflake's market capitalisation of approximately $83 billion. Management has indicated the company may remain private until market conditions improve.
