Job Description:

Position Overview: The TD Innovation team in Architecture and US Channels are seeking a highly motivated and creative Innovation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about emerging technology, possess a strong problem-solving mindset, and have a proven track record of developing innovative solutions. As an Innovation Engineer, you will play a critical role in identifying, designing, and implementing new technologies and processes that will drive our company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify emerging technologies and trends that can be leveraged to create new products, services, or processes across TD LOBs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional TD teams to brainstorm, prototype, and test innovative ideas.
• Conduct research and feasibility studies to evaluate the potential impact and viability of new technologies to TD.
• Develop and implement proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the value of innovative solutions.
• Work closely with product development teams across TD  to integrate successful innovations into the company's offerings.
• Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to inform innovation strategies.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to support the development and execution of innovation initiatives.
• Foster a culture of innovation within the organization by promoting creative thinking and continuous improvement.
• Assist TD Invent teams to move from ideation into P&T PODs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.  Equivalent experience is a consideration.  
• 6+ years of experience in an engineering role, with a focus on innovation or R&D.
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies and their potential applications.
• Proven ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with prototyping tools and methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
