OVERVIEW

The Quality & Regulatory team at Plexus is responsible for leading and supporting the architecture, development, and deployment of the Plexus Quality Management System (QMS) vision, strategies, and objectives while effectively and efficiently managing continuous improvement and compliance for the individual QMS elements. The Quality Services Intern will obtain a broad exposure to many areas/functions of Plexus’ business impacted by our Quality Management System, through project work and hands-on learning in many of the areas below.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Understanding Plexus’ core QMS processes (i.e. Corrective/Preventative Action, Internal Audit, Documentation Control, Metrics/Measures, Product Quality Planning, etc.)
• Use of various continual improvement methods for problem solving (DMAIC process, 5-Whys, etc.)
• Support strategic initiatives
• Design and/or Manufacturing site-support engagements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality or Regulatory related field for entire duration of internship.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Junior level status
• GPA: 3.0 or higher is preferred
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
