  • Ideally, 6+ years of back-end development experience.
  • You have experience developing web-based applications at the enterprise level.
  • Problem solving is a strength of yours. You bring the ability to interpret data and business strategy, understanding constraints and trade-offs.
  • You have experience in mentoring other team members about best practices, latest updates and version, and fostering consistent coding styles and guidelines.
  • You have helped introduce new dev/test/automation frameworks, languages, tools and have drove adoption where suitable.
  • Experience of Java or Python RESTful as an API design.
Responsibilities
  • Lead design and engineering activities for your squad in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Break down large features and epics into smaller items to enable others in the squad to work more efficiently.
  • Coordinate complex deployments and improve developer experience at Workhuman by bringing in new ideas unconstrained by existing approaches.
  • Enable the team to work efficiently toward their goals (e.g., assisting your Engineering Manager with prioritising work, identifying dependencies, interpreting team retro feedback, caring about the team's documentation).
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS and Cloud-first applications is a plus.
  • Experience with React or other Front-end frameworks is advantageous.
