Requirements
  • A minimum Bac+3 degree in Finance, Accounting, or Hotel Management.
  • Two to three years of experience in hotel finance or accounting, ideally in the luxury sector.
  • Proficiency in hotel accounting, financial reporting, budgets, forecasts, closings, and key performance indicators.
  • Knowledge of the French accounting, tax, and social environment, including value-added tax, payroll, and audits.
  • Proficiency with hotel finance tools, including experience with reconciliations and financial analysis.
  • Strong rigor, analytical ability, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with operational teams.
  • Business-oriented, solution-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement, with an interest in optimizing costs and performance.
  • Integrity, discretion, adaptability, and professionalism in a demanding and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Finance Director in managing all financial and accounting activities of the establishment.
  • Supervise monthly and annual closings and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, management reports, and key hotel performance indicators.
  • Participate in preparing the annual budget and forecasts and in monitoring action plans with operational teams.
  • Analyze establishment performance using financial and operational key performance indicators, including revenue, average daily rate, revenue per available room, personnel costs, material costs, gross operating profit, and departmental margins.
  • Support operational teams in variance analysis, risk identification, and implementation of performance-improvement actions.
  • Lead departmental budget monitoring, challenge expenditures, and identify cost- and profitability-optimization opportunities.
  • Ensure the reliability of financial data and the effectiveness of internal controls through continuous improvement.
  • Supervise and support the accounting team through organization, training, skills development, and performance monitoring.
  • Supervise accounting operations related to payroll in coordination with Human Resources and relevant service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, social, and regulatory obligations, particularly value-added tax requirements.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and manage relationships with statutory auditors, auditors, and external advisors.
  • Contribute to improving financial tools, reporting systems, and control procedures.
  • Develop financial awareness across teams and contribute to improving the establishment’s operational efficiency.
