Responsibilities
  • Directly oversee a team of employees by setting team and individual goals, delegating tasks, and setting deadlines.
  • Motivate team members, identify training needs, provide coaching, listen to feedback, and resolve issues or conflicts.
  • Perform all duties required of a Medical Assistant when not directly engaged with leadership support.
  • Manage and delegate daily tasks and responsibilities to Medical Assistants and front desk coordinators.
  • Oversee daily workflow in assigned clinics.
  • Review weekly, daily, and monthly spreadsheets for accuracy and completion.
  • Conduct annual quality assurance evaluations for Medical Assistants.
  • Conduct annual site visits for each clinic in the region.
  • Help improve phone metrics to achieve at least 90% call compliance.
  • Ensure voicemails are completed by the end of each day.
  • Delegate required daily tasks and ensure completion.
  • Exemplify the company's core values and mission.
  • Instill a culture of open communication and motivation to drive positive morale.
  • Plan and carry out employee appreciation activities each quarter.
  • Provide timely and consistent communication about changes and updates for the clinic, market, front desk, and clinical staff.
  • Perform monthly inventory quality control by comparing physical counts with Surgicare stock levels.
  • Identify inventory-count improvement opportunities and share clinic inventory compliance information with staff.
  • Communicate and train assigned staff on protocol and process changes.
  • Evaluate and follow up weekly with staff on completion of the Front Desk Retention Log.
  • Distribute weekly call performance information and monthly management meeting notes provided by the Vice President of Operations or Clinical Manager.
  • Handle staff questions related to both front-office and back-office operations.
  • Identify and carry out additional training opportunities for existing staff.
  • Coordinate weekly staffing with the Clinical Manager.
  • Review clinic schedules weekly to determine scheduling accuracy.
  • Communicate inaccurate scheduling to the Scheduling Manager or Director for process improvement.
  • Work with the front desk to move patients into accurate scheduling slots and maximize clinic templates.
  • Perform work according to company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Follow all HIPAA rules and regulations, including confidentiality of patient information.
  • Adhere to OSHA requirements, including universal precautions and sharps-disposal guidelines.
  • Perform other duties, including standard Medical Assistant, front-desk, and ENT responsibilities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or degree.
  • At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
  • At least 1 year of Medical Receptionist experience.
  • A Medical Assistant certificate, vocational nurse license, or related experience.
  • Current CPR certification.
