Requirements
  • At least 2 years of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Currently pursuing a PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, with an expected graduation date after December 2027.
  • Programming proficiency in at least one of Python, R, SQL, Spark, or Java for data and statistical analysis applications.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including data analysis, modeling, visualization, statistics, research, and generative artificial intelligence.
  • Ability to apply data and software engineering skills to design, develop, and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in analytical settings.
  • Business acumen and commitment to supporting data-informed business outcomes.
  • Ability to support risk assessments and apply risk controls in a disciplined, data-driven environment.
  • Present authorization to work for any employer in the United States without requiring work visa sponsorship from Wells Fargo now or in the future.
Responsibilities
  • Forecast loss and revenue for credit card loan portfolios.
  • Develop credit scorecards for consumer decisioning strategies.
  • Build models to identify money laundering patterns across large transaction databases.
  • Predict operational losses using statistical and machine learning modeling.
  • Apply statistical and quantitative techniques to validate model design, calibration, and implementation.
  • Contribute to strategic business goals through on-the-job project experiences.
  • Support applicable risk and compliance programs, including credit, market, financial crimes, operational, and regulatory compliance programs.
  • Follow applicable company policies and procedures, fulfill risk and compliance obligations, and escalate and remediate issues appropriately.
  • Participate in proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, and sound risk decision-making.

IDEX extends $800M credit facility maturity to 2031

IDEX Corporation has amended its revolving credit facility, extending the maturity date to September 3, 2031, from the previous November 1, 2027. The facility maintains its $800 million principal amount. The agreement, finalised on September 3, 2026, allows for up to $100 million in letters of credit and $50 million in same-day swingline loans. IDEX may request additional lending commitments, capped at a $400 million increase. The proceeds will fund working capital and general corporate purposes, including refinancing existing debt.
