Job Description

Leading Role:

• Vane Pump Design.

• Provide strategic support to the Group Leader, contributing to key initiatives and decision-making.

• Propose comprehensive execution plans for projects / task and identifying challenges.
• Drive the execution of assigned project/tasks, ensuring timely completion and reporting.

• Analyze data to establish and implement systematic procedures for routine tasks, driving continuous process enhancements, optimizing efficiency, and ensuring consistent performance.

• Mentor and support other team members by fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment to enhance team capabilities.

Functional Role:

• Provide product engineering support for our series production of industrial hydraulic pumps, assisting our worldwide plants and global sales teams.

• Creation and maintenance of Engineering change requests (ECR) for engineering documents like BOM and material-master in SAP.

• Design and development of new components for hydraulic pump using CREO.

• Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, Design FMEA etc.

• Generate ideas and implement product and process cost reduction topics.

• Collaborate with cross-functional regional and international teams such as Manufacturing, Quality, Purchase and Testing.

Qualifications

1 Job Title / Designation: Engineer / Executive (Design)

2 Location: AhmP, Ahmedabad

3 Essential Educational Qualification: B.E. - Mechanical Engineering

4 Preferred Educational Qualification: M.Tech – Mechanical Engineering

5 No. of years of Experience required: 2 to 10 years (at least 4-6 yrs relevant industry experience preferred in industrial hydraulic pump design including Vane pump for executive position)

Additional Information

Knowledge / Specialization / Experience / Expertise required in the areas like :

Must (relevant experience)

 Knowledge of Hydraulic pumps, components and circuits.

 Experience in design of industrial hydraulic pump components / parts.

 Experience of development projects and processes.

 Knowledge of FMEA, tolerance stack-up analysis, GD & T.

 Knowledge of general manufacturing, production and assembly processes.

 Good English communication and collaboration skills.

 Software expertise: CREO & PDM – Modelling and drawing for machined and casting parts, assembly of hydraulic pump.

Advantage with

 Structural FEM and CFD knowledge

 SAP knowledge.

 Casting design.

Type of Industry Preferred: Hydraulic products development/ manufacturing / service.
