Requirements
  • Experience in design operations, product data/product lifecycle management, or product-development or production coordination; internships count toward early-career experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management setup or administration is a plus, and familiarity with tech packs, bills of materials, and textile or garment terminology is required for the work.
  • Working knowledge of costing concepts including free on board, landed duty paid, initial markup, and Incoterms.
  • Experience with an enterprise resource planning or product lifecycle management system such as Fulfil, and with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify.
  • Exposure to product compliance requirements including CPSIA, Federal Trade Commission labeling, and flammability standards, especially for children's or sleepwear categories.
  • Ability to manage multiple open threads across functions with clear written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the product development team and Design Coordinator to build the seasonal allocation file, including final fabric codes, print names, vendor allocations, and retail prices.
  • Reconcile allocation data with the distribution center so it can generate a bill of materials file for each style and integrate it accurately into the product lifecycle management system.
  • Maintain the seasonal product development calendar and track design handoff, tech-pack completion, sample rounds, purchase-order placement, ex-factory, and delivery milestones.
  • Log and track proto, fit, SMS, and TOP samples; coordinate inbound and outbound sample shipping; and flag late or missing submissions.
  • Coordinate with design coordinators to keep tech packs, bills of materials, and specification sheets updated as design revisions arrive.
  • Coordinate fabric, trim, lab-dip, and strike-off submissions and route them for approval.
  • Manage day-to-day vendor correspondence, issue requests for quotation, chase quotes, and follow up on sample and costing requests.
  • Gather free-on-board and landed-duty-paid quotes, build and update cost sheets, and track landed-cost components including freight, duty, and Incoterms.
  • Track purchase orders from placement through production to ex-factory, monitor work in progress, and surface delays early.
  • Maintain supplier contacts, capabilities, and lead times, and keep supplier naming consistent across records.
  • Prepare sample reviews so the correct information and samples are ready for design decisions.
  • Manage handoffs from design downstream and uphold product lifecycle management process standards with Sarah and Taila.
  • Support compliance and labeling documentation, including CPSIA tracking labels and test reports for children's products, fiber-content and care labeling, and flammability certificates, keeping records complete and audit-ready before each production run.
  • Act as a liaison across design, merchandising, sourcing, quality assurance, and logistics to keep teams aligned on status.
  • Partner with design, production, and systems stakeholders on product lifecycle management rollout and standards.
  • Prepare materials for vendor meetings, sourcing trips, and seasonal line reviews.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to accuracy.
  • A data-hygiene mindset and a process-driven approach to setting and maintaining standards.
