Responsibilities
  • Lead product vision and strategy for the next-generation of the Rider app
  • Create a delightful experience for the user from App signup to booking transit to taking a ride
  • Develop a scalable way to integrate real-time public transit and other data
  • Build robust features that enable scaled set up for large services with varied policies on travel, payments, communications etc
  • Build an excellent communications platform for riders from sign up to bookings to reminders
  • Bring 'network thinking' to bear and reflect the perfect experience as the rider interacts with other personas
  • Build inclusively for all customers with Accessibility as a driving principle for each build
  • Ascertain value vs. cost of each requirement and help scope/descope requirements as needed
  • Drive a data-driven, inclusive and effective prioritization and scheduling process
  • Act as a focal point while working closely with all areas of the company as Software Development, QA, Project Management and Business teams
