Requirements
  • High level of dexterity and attention to detail is essential; using hand tools, soldering equipment, wire bonding, microscopes and manual epoxy mount of components.
  • Ability to follow manufacturing procedures, drawings and instructions.
  • Flexible and able to work extra hours or shift work as required to meet customer demand.
  • Capable of managing your own time efficiently to enable department targets to be achieved.
  • Works well both individually and as part of the Manufacturing Team.
  • Experience in assembly and handling of electronic components.
  • Experienced using SAP in a production environment.
  • Competent in computer use ie MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
Responsibilities
  • The manufacture of product using a range of assembly techniques including, wire bonding, epoxy and soldering in line with document packs.
  • Accurately maintain manufacturing records as part of product lifecycle.
  • Proactively help to manage and promote safe working in compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
  • Work to meet or exceed weekly, monthly and quarterly production output targets.
  • Complete support activity for the engineering team.
  • Actively assist in minimising Scrap and Rework.
  • Carry out basic electrical test of components and assemblies.
