Requirements
  • Hands-on feature architecture and design experience in one or more core technologies including WiFi 802.11 and Cellular 4G-LTE/5GNR
  • Experience with WLAN software engineering with broad knowledge across the stack
  • Deep system level understanding of wireless communications and its fundamentals
  • Strong familiarity with software test coverage and automation
  • Strong management and leadership skills including the ability to plan, execute and deliver a very high quality product with a high performing team

Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of talented engineers working on multiple wireless solutions across the stack from cloud to MAC and PHY firmware layers
  • Enhance and improve Skydio’s various wireless solutions, extending the range and providing high-speed and secure communication
  • Oversee the development and realization of real world innovations in WiFi and Cellular technologies and tailor them to specific drone communication use cases
  • Work to optimize command and control latency, video streams fusion, and end to end network management for various use cases and customer needs
