Requirements
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent skills is required.
  • Document review experience in insurance-related policies and/or commercial contracts is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with little supervision and seek support when required.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Robust analytical and communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is required.
  • U.S. work authorization is required.
Responsibilities
  • Execute well-defined work assignments subject to a moderate level of control and review.
  • Review contracts for proper indemnity and certificate requirements.
  • Track the collection, distribution, and management of tenant, contractor, and vendor certificates of insurance and evidence of property insurance.
  • Provide quarterly updates on certificate compliance to the Senior Vice President of Real Estate Management, Risk Management, and Senior Contracts Administrator.
  • Manage premium and claim allocation and submit premium and claim invoices.
  • Gather incident and claim information, conduct investigations, and identify applicable policies, coverage, deductibles, and potential subrogation recovery.
  • Communicate and coordinate with claimants, field partners, brokers, third-party administrators, and other interested parties regarding incidents and claims.
  • Coach internal partners on productive incident reporting, management, and processes.
  • Manage claims in-house and report claims to insurance carriers as necessary while managing expectations.
  • Analyze invoices and estimates for supporting documentation and cost detail related to the scope of covered damage.
  • Perform data and loss trend analysis.
  • Obtain valuations for acquisitions and manage and maintain the statement of values.
  • Conduct business personal property reviews with Grey Collar Enterprise entities.
  • Assist in budget creation and analysis.
  • Participate in Real Estate Management and Safety monthly meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to collect information necessary for insurance programs and potential needs.
  • Assist with the annual policy renewal process.
  • Understand the organization's entity structure and interdependency.
Desired Qualifications
  • An associate degree or Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree from a two- or four-year technical college or university is preferred.
  • A Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter certification is preferred.
  • Commercial real estate and/or insurance experience is preferred.
  • A real estate and/or insurance license is preferred.
