Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 + years of Hands-on experience in infrastructure lab, implementing and managing VMware, Hyper-V, and cloud-based infrastructure (IBM Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) to host multiple applications.
  • Proficiency in managing Windows Server, Linux (RedHat and Debian compatible kernels), and MacOS environments.
  • Experience with VMware ESXi and vCenter Server, including securing, patching, and upgrading these platforms.
  • Expertise in VPN technologies such as L2TP/IPSec, IKEv2, Wireguard, etc.
  • Familiarity with securing internal resources using firewalls, VPN, NAT, IPv4, and IPv6.
  • Solid understanding of network subnetting and routing protocols like RIP, OSPF, and BGP.
Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Engineer will be solely responsible for building secure, scalable infrastructure to support Partner Engineering and 3rd party products offered by Wasabi, with a focus on customer-facing solutions.
  • Implement and streamline the project activation process by incorporating security measures and application design, while supporting cloud computing initiatives.
  • Create & implement a backup strategy for all infrastructure elements to ensure protection from ransomware events.
  • Manage multiple high-speed connectivity with Equinix, Megaport and other direct connect services.
  • Effectively communicate with customers for product activations and onboarding.
  • Keep abreast of technology trends and make solution recommendations that can be accomplished through existing / new technologies.
