- Prior experience working in the game industry
- 6+ years PQE
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate complex agreements, including game licensing, rights acquisition, game development, game distribution and publishing, marketing / user acquisition, and talent agreements
- Design, update, and implement a games-focused product compliance process, covering issues such as moderation, age rating/gating, sensitive content, etc
- Work closely with legal and business cross functional partners, including the Netflix TV/film teams
- Support the acquisition, integration, governance, and operation of acquired game studios
- Monitor and counsel regarding games policy
- Create and maintain policies, forms, trainings, and processes to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with domestic and international regulations
- Develop clear and efficient solutions to mitigate legal risk while allowing for fast paced growth in fast evolving industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work proactively, independently, and reliably under tight time frames
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively cross‐functionally, think pragmatically, and be solution‐oriented
