Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related STEM field is required.
  • Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD Inventor, or other computer-aided design tools is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Excel, is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • The candidate must be a U.S. Person.
Responsibilities
  • Generate and maintain technical data packages, including drawings, manufacturing documentation, tooling, and test procedures.
  • Provide technical expertise by solving engineering and production issues to support the facility.
  • Interface with internal and external customers.
  • Ensure product drawings are at the correct revision and uploaded into the enterprise resource planning system.
  • Design tooling and fixtures to support the manufacturing process.
  • Work with Manufacturing to identify and resolve issues associated with manufacturing, assembly, and testing of batteries.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Desired Qualifications
  • A minimum of three years of work experience in a related engineering role is preferred, but not required subject to other qualifications.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, including tolerance analysis, is preferred.
