Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least six months of previous clerical experience related to health care insurance billing is required.
- No licensure or credentials are required.
Responsibilities
- Perform resolution-oriented billing to achieve maximum payment of assigned hospital and physician receivables.
- Complete timely billing on assigned accounts in a compliant manner.
- Identify trends and their root causes according to Olympic Medical Center policies and procedures.
- Maintain the productivity level defined by department guidelines.
- Complete comprehensive account management reviews on paid and unpaid accounts to ensure payments are made, applied, and posted correctly.
- Monitor and complete all necessary steps to obtain payment and resolve outstanding balances.
