Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least six months of previous clerical experience related to health care insurance billing is required.
  • No licensure or credentials are required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform resolution-oriented billing to achieve maximum payment of assigned hospital and physician receivables.
  • Complete timely billing on assigned accounts in a compliant manner.
  • Identify trends and their root causes according to Olympic Medical Center policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the productivity level defined by department guidelines.
  • Complete comprehensive account management reviews on paid and unpaid accounts to ensure payments are made, applied, and posted correctly.
  • Monitor and complete all necessary steps to obtain payment and resolve outstanding balances.
