Requirements
  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
  • Three years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience
  • One year of administrative capacity or supervising staff performing clerical/administrative work
  • An associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college
  • Four years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience
  • One year of administrative supervisory experience
  • A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education
  • Five years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience
  • Education and/or experience equivalent to the above qualifications
Responsibilities
  • Serve as liaison between FDNY, Office of Technology and Innovation, and Department of Citywide Administrative Services
  • Track status of documents submitted for processing and follow up on inquiries
  • Retrieve data from FDNY tracking system for updating reports and analyzing spending
  • Review and process agency purchase orders against city Requirement Contracts
  • Post notices in the City Record for 'sole source' procurements
  • Process Intergovernmental procurement requests against State and Federal Government contracts
  • Conduct market research and preparation of agreements
  • Process requests for new requirement contracts, requisitions for supplies, materials, and equipment
