- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5–10 years of experience managing military or large-scale federal construction programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of military construction processes and Department of Defense construction standards.
- Experience working with federal agencies, including the Department of Defense, United States Army Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Air Force Civil Engineer Center, or equivalent organizations.
- Strong program management, budgeting, and scheduling skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance or higher.
- Manage and oversee military construction programs and projects from planning through execution and closeout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between government clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Defense, Unified Facilities Criteria, Federal Acquisition Regulation, and applicable federal regulations and standards.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Review design packages, construction submittals, change orders, and cost estimates.
- Identify and mitigate program risks and resolve issues impacting scope, schedule, or cost.
- Prepare and deliver program briefings, reports, and documentation for senior leadership.
- Coordinate with engineering, contracting, environmental, and facilities stakeholders.
- Support acquisition planning, contract execution, and post-award administration.
- Conduct site visits and progress inspections as required.
- Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional, Professional Engineer, Certified Construction Manager, or Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting.
- Prior experience supporting the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, or Air Force Civil Engineer Center.
- Familiarity with environmental compliance, safety standards, and quality control programs.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across diverse locations.
- Veteran or prior military service experience.
