Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5–10 years of experience managing military or large-scale federal construction programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of military construction processes and Department of Defense construction standards.
  • Experience working with federal agencies, including the Department of Defense, United States Army Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Air Force Civil Engineer Center, or equivalent organizations.
  • Strong program management, budgeting, and scheduling skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance or higher.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee military construction programs and projects from planning through execution and closeout.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between government clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Defense, Unified Facilities Criteria, Federal Acquisition Regulation, and applicable federal regulations and standards.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Review design packages, construction submittals, change orders, and cost estimates.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks and resolve issues impacting scope, schedule, or cost.
  • Prepare and deliver program briefings, reports, and documentation for senior leadership.
  • Coordinate with engineering, contracting, environmental, and facilities stakeholders.
  • Support acquisition planning, contract execution, and post-award administration.
  • Conduct site visits and progress inspections as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional, Professional Engineer, Certified Construction Manager, or Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting.
  • Prior experience supporting the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, or Air Force Civil Engineer Center.
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance, safety standards, and quality control programs.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across diverse locations.
  • Veteran or prior military service experience.
