Requirements
  • Two or more years of experience in a related field.
  • EPA, OSHA, Fair Housing, and pool certifications are required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to use good judgment and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and complete assignments independently.
  • Ability to operate a computer, phone system, and general office equipment.
  • Availability to take calls for emergency requests.
  • A valid driver's license and daily transportation are required for obtaining supplies and performing other duties.
  • Ability to drive a golf cart may be required.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain the physical integrity of the community by ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Diagnose and perform minor or routine preventive maintenance and repairs on all units and equipment.
  • Remove and transfer heavy appliances and equipment between the storage area and apartments as circumstances warrant.
  • Inspect and help coordinate all make-ready repairs and services needed after an apartment move-out.
  • Apply knowledge of applicable laws and Environmental Protection Agency and Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations governing the proper storage and management of hazardous materials.
  • Create and assist with work orders and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Schedule vendors and contractors and maintain curb appeal.
  • Ensure all amenities and grounds are finished and ready for review.
  • Walk move-outs to assess damages and issues and report the results to the Maintenance Supervisor.
