Requirements
  • Mature and personal Christian faith

  • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
  • Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Relief's Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity, and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant area, or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven follow-through with multiple tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an excellent grasp of grammar and tone
  • General computer literacy, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with other Microsoft Office products
  • Experience working with churches, volunteers, and community partners
Responsibilities
  • Manage the Volunteer Coordinator staff
  • Reach out to area churches and community organizations to communicate the work of World Relief
  • Maintain regular communication with church and community partners
  • Facilitate Outreach Team meetings, check-ins, professional development, training, and change management
  • Develop relationships to secure financial, in-kind, and social capital resources
  • Raise a portion of the yearly fundraising goal through church giving
  • Equip and support the Outreach Team to meet fundraising goals
  • Engage in and support the work of the Outreach and Development Teams
  • Oversee applications, reporting, and implementation of outreach-related grants
  • Partner with Development Team to coordinate outward communication
  • Participate and coordinate public speaking and teaching with program participants and community partners
