Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in education technology, or selling enterprise software, account management, or a related field.
  • Experience presenting to and building relationships with stakeholders at academic institutions or enterprises.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for Gemini in higher education in a specific market.
  • Own the key results for strategic adoption within assigned accounts, focusing on programs that demonstrate quantifiable value, including delivering training to support Gemini adoption across users.
  • Identify and engage with stakeholders at the academic institutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping faculty and departments build and execute roadmaps for integrating AI into teaching and research.
  • Identify sector stakeholders that could be enablers to Gemini adoption in the higher education sector (university associations, frameworks, leadership groups, etc).
  • Be a thought leader across the sector.
  • Synthesize and relay feedback from customers to help influence the future roadmap for Gemini in education.
  • Collaborate with teams across Google to ensure an aligned One-Google strategy to support universities.

  • Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or other transformative technologies, and supporting technology adoption and change-management initiatives with customers.
  • Experience building thought leadership innovative programs in the education space.
  • Experience building and cultivating lasting relationships with accounts.
  • Understanding of the higher education sector, including its unique challenges and decision-making processes.
  • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track record of successfully executing go-to-market strategies and meeting or exceeding targets.
