  • A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science college degree, or related industry experience.
  • Prior route sales experience is highly preferred.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
  • Reliable transportation and proof of insurance are required.
  • Local candidates are preferred, and no relocation package is provided.
Responsibilities
  • Manage an established sales territory, including selling, servicing, merchandising, administration, and maintaining up-to-date accounts receivable.
  • Ensure consistent customer contact.
  • Plan and execute sales initiatives.
  • Handle customer-related issues promptly and courteously.
  • Understand products and pricing schedules.
  • Make effective sales presentations.
  • Achieve assigned company objectives and grow the business.
  • Identify and nurture new accounts.
  • Use available point-of-sale materials to enhance selling efforts.
  • Maintain merchandising standards for display size and location, shelf position, cold boxes, counters, windows, and other consumer-facing areas.
  • Follow necessary steps when making sales calls.
  • Perform reliable inventory checks and communicate accurately to minimize order mistakes.
  • Rotate products properly on shelves, cold boxes, displays, and similar locations.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Handle paperwork accurately and promptly.
