  • 5+ years of in FP&A/strategic finance (ideally supporting a subscription or SaaS business), private equity, or investment banking
  • Strong familiarity with subscription or SaaS business models and metrics
  • Ability to think across multiple dimensions of a business (sales, product, marketing etc.) and work cross-functionally to deliver results
  • Proficient in deciphering complex business drivers, delivering high-quality analytics, and communicating effectively
  • Exceptional skill at building and maintaining relationships with multiple stakeholders, manage multiple competing priorities, and drive projects to completion
  • Doesn’t hesitate to get in the weeds and work at the lowest level of detail but is just as comfortable thinking big picture and long-term
  • Desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
  • Drive all long-range strategic planning, annual planning, quarterly forecast cycles, and regular business reviews
  • Craft the Smart Home Subscriptions narrative that will be delivered to FP&A, Devices, and Smart Home Leadership teams
  • Partner with Analytics to develop and define KPIs and dashboards for real time performance monitoring
  • Construct user funnels that drive understanding of subscriber acquisition journey
  • Develop cohorted views of subscriber metrics to evaluate trends in attach rates, ARPU, churn, and other user behavior
  • Distill insights and recommendations that can help grow the business
  • Create frameworks for investment in subscriber acquisition and LTV to measure ROI of sales and marketing initiatives and evaluate tradeoffs between different investment ideas
  • Build and manage scenario models to identify opportunities and conduct in-depth analyses to drive business decisions, such as expansion of the Smart Home subscription offering, bundling of subscriptions with Smart Home hardware products, and upsell/cross-sell campaigns
  • Become the liaison between the Smart Home Hardware and Smart Home Subscription business, creating points of connection between key stakeholders and business initiatives
