Requirements
  • Applicants must submit a portfolio or provide a direct link to an online portfolio.
  • At least 5 years of professional video editing experience with a strong portfolio across paid social, organic content, and long-form video.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and the broader Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop.
  • Proven ability to craft emotionally engaging narratives from raw footage across short-form advertising and documentary formats.
  • Hands-on experience with sound design, audio mixing, and colour grading.
  • Basic motion graphics capability using After Effects and a good eye for design, including understanding of typography, colour, and visual rhythm.
Responsibilities
  • Edit video content across digital channels, including short-form paid social advertisements, mini-documentaries, brand films, and YouTube series.
  • Own projects end-to-end by reviewing raw footage, shaping the narrative arc, achieving picture lock, completing colour grading and sound design, and delivering final assets.
  • Develop creative approaches to digital advertising that hook audiences and communicate the brand within tight time constraints.
  • Handle sound design and audio mixing for polished deliverables.
  • Perform colour grading and finishing to a broadcast-quality standard, help develop and maintain the company’s visual style, and drive brand consistency across video assets.
  • Create and integrate motion graphics and basic animation, collaborating with the design team or contracted specialists on complex executions.
  • Adapt and resize content for multiple platforms and placements, optimizing each version for its format and audience.
  • Collaborate with the creative director, producers, and marketing team to understand briefs and deliver work that achieves objectives.
  • Establish and maintain post-production standards, templates, and workflows to improve team efficiency and output consistency.
  • Monitor emerging formats, platform trends, and editing techniques.
  • Maintain an organized asset and project library, ensuring files are archived, accessible, and backed up across the team.
  • Mentor and provide creative feedback to junior editors and contractors where required.
  • Work independently with full project ownership and collaborate effectively within the broader creative team.
