What's this role about?  

As an ODI Developer need to work with the business to develop new ETL mappings and support the existing ETL mappings for enhancements. as per business requirements.

  Here's how you'll contribute:

Support and help maintain the existing ODI environment coordinating with other team members and business users.

Skills required to contribute: 

5+ years of Experience as ODI Developer 

1. 5+ Yrs. in-depth hands-on experience in developing ETL/ELT interfaces in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g.
2. Develop medium to complex ODI interfaces and using various transformation packages and knowledge modules.
3. Ability to diagnose and debug data reconciliation issues and identify fix.
4. Migrate and deploy Code to multiple environments.
5. Create Load-Plans and schedule the same.
6. Performance tuning and optimization of ODI interfaces. 
7. Must be well versed and hands-on in using and customizing Knowledge Modules (KM) IKM, LKM, CKM and RKM.
8. Strong knowledge and experience and implementation of Oracle Data warehouse concepts SCD2, Aggregates, Hierarchy tables, Snapshot fact tables etc..
9. Working knowledge of out-of-box OBIA ODI ETL packages/interfaces and KMs is preferable.         
10. Understanding of ETL concepts, ETL loading strategy, Data reconciliation, ETL Error Handling , Error logging mechanism, standards and Best practices
11. Implementation understanding of slowly changing dimensions, late arriving facts, late arriving dimensions, revisions to history, surrogate keys, helper tables, etc.
12. Should have strong Hands on ODI Tool and able to design reusable components 
13. Understanding of Performance Tuning methods, Partitioning and Optimization in ODI
14. Experienced in writing and presenting High level ETL design that includes source & target mapping, validations, look ups and business rules
15. Should have Experience in deployment strategy, checklist, scheduling and automating the job runs
16. Knowledge on shell scripting will be added Advantage
17. Very Good knowledge of SQL
18. Working knowledge of OAC/ OBI would be an advantage
