Requirements
  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience) and related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience
  • 3+ years of directly related experience
  • Unix and Windows operations systems
  • Understanding of remote VoIP administration
  • Experience with conferencing system configuration
  • Knowledge of CAT5, CAT6 and copper termination requirements
  • Familiarity with telephone testing and installation equipment
  • TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Required
  • Must possess appropriate and current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification to be considered for employment; either CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), OR CCNA-Security. CompTIA Security+ CE is the preferred certification
  • Must attain the required DoD 8570 Computing Environment (CE) Certification within six months of Hire Date
Responsibilities
  • Screen, refer and diagnose internal inquiries and work requests as they relate to maintenance of computers and related systems
  • Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software
  • Provide end-user hardware and software troubleshooting and support
  • Replace network and fiber cable
  • Decommission old systems
  • Install, configure, and maintain Video Teleconferencing systems (VTCs), TVs, and phone systems
  • Coordinate development of deliverables and products
  • Must be able to track project studies, plans, action items, etc.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies assigned
  • Participate in special projects as required
