Requirements
- A personal reliable vehicle is required.
- CSA-approved steel-toed boots with six-inch ankle support are required.
- A clean driver’s abstract and a valid Class 3Q driver’s license with airbrake endorsement are required.
- Candidates must complete drug and alcohol testing, company and site-specific orientations, a Fitness to Work Assessment, and mask fit testing.
- Candidates must be able to work in physically demanding weather and physical conditions.
- Experience operating a manual transmission is required.
Responsibilities
- Wash various pieces of heavy equipment, parts, and support vehicles in the field using a high-pressure hose.
- Ensure the proper treatment and maintenance of wash wands and equipment.
- Perform general housekeeping to keep the mobile wash truck clean and organized.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness for the truck and surrounding environment in the field.
- Manually load and unload supplies from trucks and use equipment when requested.
- Promote, execute, and adhere to the company’s safety program and encourage employees, subcontractors, and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience working on a hydrovac truck or steamer truck in an industrial setting is considered an asset.
