  • Experience with process design and optimization to define routing processes and approve Line Build In processes is required.
  • Clear and professional communication of technical requirements and solutions is required.
  • Attention to detail when reviewing documentation and creating customer changes is required.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit staging quotes for all quote requests by analyzing customer requirements and product specifications and factoring in product structure, component complexity, and estimated assembly times.
  • Create and release Engineering Changes and Bills of Materials for specific staging configurations and returned equipment, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with production requirements.
  • Develop staging processes and create customized customer routing documents containing product specifications, sequential routing steps, work center assignments, assembly and staging instructions, logic testing procedures, inspection criteria, and packaging designs.
  • Validate the Line Build In process before manufacturing starts to ensure the production line is properly staged and operational.
  • Oversee pilot runs to confirm the accuracy of routing documentation, ensure quality assurance protocols are met, and approve First Article Inspection results.
  • Design and define packaging solutions, including detailed drawings, packaging matrices, pallet configurations, and specification documentation.
  • Test and approve packaging to ensure it meets functional, quality, and customer requirements.
  • Provide day-to-day quality support and direction for SCO Quality activities.
  • Perform hotline approvals and investigations.
  • Support and analyze the QHR database.
  • Enter and approve short ships and off-specification items.
  • Handle part substitutions and field representative questions and concerns.
  • Participate in monthly end-to-end quality meetings.
  • Investigate shipping damage initially believed to be caused by packaging.
